A kink is an intimate interest, fantasy, or preference that someone experiences as outside their usual routine or conventional expectations. What feels like a kink to one person can feel ordinary to another.
No list can capture every preference. This guide introduces 24 interests and terms, with prompts to help you reflect. You do not need to adopt a label or be interested in every entry.
People often use these words loosely. Kink is a broad term for interests and fantasies; fetish often describes a particularly strong focus on an object, material, body part, or situation. This list does not diagnose either.
