Your solo result is private. Mutual matches come later.
Private answers
Your first quiz result is private. If you invite a partner later, only Yes/Yes or Yes/Maybe matches are returned; individual answer sheets are never shown.
If you join a Kink Room, SharedYes calculates an exact-answer match percentage against the room owner's frozen result. The owner never receives your individual answers, matching or mismatching question names, categories, or private match-level label. If you approve an alias, the owner may pay to see that alias with your percentage.
What is stored
SharedYes uses an anonymous account to save quiz sessions and support private partner invitations. The browser also keeps local progress so you can continue on the same device. If you deliberately enter an email to receive a private result link or invite update, it is used for that requested message.
Creating a Kink Room requires a recoverable account. A room stores its owner's frozen assessment version and a server-only answer snapshot, participant counts, derived exact-match percentages, and participant-approved aliases. Room links use opaque random tokens. Room answers are not included in analytics or public page metadata.
If you make a purchase, SharedYes stores an opaque order identifier, Stripe payment identifiers, payment status, amount, currency, and timestamps. Payment records do not contain quiz answers, match names, or either person's individual choices.
If you redeem a promo code, SharedYes stores the code, the type of unlock, an account identifier, redemption time, and a non-guessable reference to the unlocked comparison or Kink Room. Promo records do not contain quiz answers or match names.
Withdraw consent and erase data
You can withdraw consent and erase your quiz answers, sessions, invites, Kink Room participation, result links, and local SharedYes data here. The control withdraws consent for quiz processing, partner sharing, and room matching, requests deletion from the service, and clears data stored in this browser. You will need to consent again to take a new quiz.
When a purchase exists, SharedYes removes the link between retained financial records and your product data. Limited payment records may be kept as required for accounting, fraud prevention, refunds, disputes, and legal obligations. Erasing product data does not automatically issue a refund.
Product notifications and feedback
SharedYes may send the product team a coarse notification when a test is completed. It contains no answers, scores, labels, email address, invite token, or user identifier. If you deliberately submit written feedback, that feedback is delivered to the product team's private feedback channel; quiz answers and identity details are not attached.
If you submit a creator reward claim, SharedYes stores the public post URL, platform, requested reward tier, review status, and the minimum payment references needed to prevent duplicate rewards and return money to the original payment method. The product team receives a private Slack notification containing the public post and requested tier, but no quiz answers, email address, comparison link, or participant identifier. Test and internal activity is suppressed from these operational Slack alerts.
When a promo code is redeemed, the product team receives a private Slack notification containing the code and whether it unlocked a partner comparison or Kink Room. It does not contain quiz answers, matches, email addresses, aliases, private links, or participant identifiers.
Third-party services
SharedYes uses Firebase for authentication without an email address, storage, and server-side matching. Your saved answers are linked to an account identifier, so they are personal data even when you do not provide your name.
Google Analytics is optional and starts only after you choose Allow analytics. It receives coarse page and product events, approximate country or region, device and browser type, and the referring site's origin. SharedYes disables advertising personalization, Google Signals, automatic page views, full referrer paths, URL parameters, and city-level location collection. Quiz answers, matches, result labels, email addresses, account or session identifiers, invitation tokens, private links, and free text are never sent. Analytics cookies expire after 90 days and are removed when you turn analytics off.
SharedYes may use Resend for messages you explicitly request.
If you choose to pay, Stripe processes the payment in its hosted checkout and may collect contact, billing, payment-method, device, and fraud-prevention information. SharedYes receives payment status and transaction identifiers, but not your full card number. Stripe handles this information under its own privacy terms.
For legacy Awin referrals where you previously allowed tracking, SharedYes may send Awin the referral identifier, an opaque order reference, eligible sale amount, and currency so the referring partner can receive commission. SharedYes does not send Awin or the partner your quiz answers, matches, email address, or private result link.
When you follow an affiliate link to a SharedYes homepage, Rewardful uses a first-party cookie and we save the referral identifier to credit the referring affiliate for an eligible purchase within 30 days. Previously saved opt-outs are respected. Rewardful receives referral and purchase information through its connection to Stripe, which may include billing contact details. We do not send Rewardful your quiz answers, matches, or private links. Affiliates cannot see your email address or private results, and we keep customer names hidden. You can turn off referral tracking below. Existing payment and commission records may remain for accounting purposes.
