Privacy methodology

Two private quizzes go in. Only mutual interests come out.

SharedYes is designed around selective disclosure: you can understand your own answers privately and compare with a partner without exchanging complete answer sheets.

What you can see

Your solo result can show your own Yes, Maybe, and No answers, personal score, category patterns, and conversation starters. This private view is not your partner's view.

What your partner can see

After both quizzes are complete, the comparison may show only allowed mutual overlap: shared Yes/Yes and safe Yes/Maybe matches. It does not reveal which person selected No or expose one-sided interests.

How comparison is designed

In production, comparison runs on the server. The browser receives only the permitted mutual result—not the other person's raw answers. Invite links are intended to be unguessable, expiring, single-partner links.

Deletion and link expiry

Users receive an erase-my-data control for quiz sessions, answers, invites, result links, and browser data. Private invite and result links are designed to expire after 30 days.

What a match means

A shared match is a private signal that can make the next conversation easier. It is not a diagnosis or a score for the overall relationship.
